What is a Design Sprint?
- A design sprint is a time-constrained, five-phase process that uses design thinking with the aim of reducing the risk when bringing a new product, service or a feature to the market (from Wikipedia).
What are the 5 phases of a Design Sprint?
- Understand (focus on the customer experience by creating a Customer Journey Map, and verify the problem is well defined)
- Sketch / Diverge (think of possible solutions individually)
- Decide (vote to decide collectively on the solution which is most likely to succeed)
- Prototype (prepare a Prototype of the solution)
- Validate / Test (check the prototype with real users and get their feedback)
